Distracted much? Probably more than you think

Distracted Eating
Ace #3

This week, let's take a look at where and how you eat, and why it matters.

The Truth: Hunger and satiety cues are subtle, and if we're deeply involved in something else, we won't recognize them. You might be a distracted eater if you eat while working, while watching TV, driving or doing anything other than enjoying your meal.

The Solution: You can avoid distracted eating by making a point to focus only on your meal - no work, no television, no Facebook while eating. Also, take your time and try making meal time last at least 15 minutes. You'll be surprised at how quickly you've been eating when you start to pay attention.

This week, take special notice of how you're eating and tell us how you're doing in the Support Room.
