This is our most popular option and also the easiest, and you can do it in the comfort and privacy of your own home!
- Takes about 30 seconds
- Step on a scale in your own home; one of our referees will review the video.
- On-screen instructions guide you through the steps
- iOS and Android

Make a 30-second video of you getting on the scale. You can use your smartphone or a digital camera (in video mode), whichever is easier for you. You can have a friend hold the camera, or you can shoot the video yourself with a full length mirror. Just upload the video to your HealthyWage challenge dashboard (use your phone's Internet browser).
1. Film your short video (either yourself, or with a partner recording you)
2. Log in to HealthyWage and upload the file through your dashboard (website, not mobile app)
3. You're done!

Another easy option! Just print your VerifyMe! form from your challenge dashboard (HealthyWage website, not mobile app) and take the form to any health or fitness professional (we recommend you call ahead). She/he will sign your form after witnessing your weigh-in. Then, take a photo of the signed form (or scan it the old fashioned way) and upload it to your challenge dashboard (website, not the mobile app).
1. Have your weigh-in witnessed by a health or fitness professional, using your VerifyMe! form
2. Scan or take a photo of your completed form
3. Log in to HealthyWage and upload the file through your dashboard
4. You're done!
Some location and witness options include: your local gym, pharmacies, corporate wellness clinics, walk-in clinics, HR reps, nurses, your personal doctor, your personal trainer or your chiropractor.
If you're participating through a company: HealthyWage will provide a list of weigh-in centers located around your work-site via your challenge dashboard, beginning about one week prior to the challenge start. You can find this link at the top of your dashboard, just under the top header:
These locations have partnered with HealthyWage to perform weigh-ins for a particular employer. We have set these up for your convenience, but use of one of our clubs is not required unless otherwise specified.
An option for Weight Watchers meeting members only! Simply scan or take a photo of your Weight Watchers weigh-in print-out or the official stamp in your book after your normal weigh-in. If you're using this method, you do not need to use our VerifyMe! form.
Keep in mind that HealthyWage loves Weight Watchers; we have Weight Watchers lifetime members on our staff; and many Weight Watchers franchisees and employees love HealthyWage; however, HealthyWage is not endorsed by Weight Watchers, which is a registered trademark of Weight Watchers International. Please do not ask for a special weigh-in for your HealthyWage challenge (just do it as part of your normal Weight Watchers weigh-in) or do anything else that would cause Weight Watchers to bear a cost on behalf of HealthyWage.
That's it! If you still have questions, please read through the Verified Weigh-in FAQ below. Still have questions? Give us a call and we'll help you get it sorted out: 1-888-636-3832.
Starting Verified Weigh-in:
For HealthyWager individual bets, you choose when to get your starting verified weigh-in -- you have up to 90 days after you place your bet (or, if you got a starting verified weigh-in within two weeks before you placed your bet, your existing weigh-in will count as your starting verified weigh-in for your HealthyWager). The clock starts running on your HealthyWager as soon as you have a verified starting weigh-in.
For all other weight loss challenges (including the Team Challenge and the Jackpot), you can get your verified starting weigh-in any time on or after the first day of your challenge, not before (unless otherwise specified). You have 3 weeks from the start of your challenge to submit your starting verified weigh-in.
Ending Verified Weigh-out:
For all weight loss challenges (including HealthyWager individual bets, Team Challenge and Jackpot), you need to get your ending verified weigh-out during your Weigh-out Window, which is the last two weeks of your challenge, including the end date of your challenge. Verified weights taken outside of this window will not be accepted.
Regardless of the method you choose to weigh-in, your verified weight information will be kept entirely private, and will only be viewed by HealthyWage staff. Weight is never shared publicly -- only percentages are displayed on your profile. If you are participating in a challenge with teams, we will not display your weight to your teammates unless you request that we do so in your privacy settings, and if you are participating through your employer, we will never share your weight amount with your employer.
You should wear one layer of non-baggy, dry clothing with no shoes and nothing in your pockets. If you are doing a video, please wear short sleeves or a tank top, and bottoms that are above the knee. Also please turn your pockets out. Most important: Wear roughly the same clothing each time you weigh in (to take your clothing out of the weight loss equation!). See this page for additional information about what to wear for your weigh-in.
No, you are not required to use the same method nor return to the same location for both of your verified weigh-ins.
No, you have two choices: if it is a personal, bathroom scale, it must be digital. If it is an upright, public scale (like one in a doctor's office) the display must be visible during all shots. Regardless of scale type, the scale must measure weight in either pounds or kilograms, and must be zeroed out or balanced prior to the participant's weigh-in. The scale must be on a flat, hard surface (not on a carpet or rug). See here for more details about approved scales.
1. Log into your challenge dashboard (on the HealthyWage website)
2. Click the settings icon (3 vertical dots) on the top right corner
3. Select "Profile" from the dropdown menu
4. Change the unit of measurement from "pounds" to "kilos"
5. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page
Make your best effort to ensure that your verified weigh-in has been measured and reported truthfully and accurately.
As part of our verified weight audits, we occasionally request that some (very few) participants get a second, confirmational weigh-in by a HealthyWage-selected person or method, which we arrange at our expense. You must cooperate with HealthyWage winners department crew members if they request an additional verification or any other assistance in verifying the truth and accuracy of your weight loss. Differences of more than a few pounds between a participant's verified weight as reported by the participant, on the one hand, and the same participant's verified weight as reported by a verifier selected by HealthyWage, on the other hand, may result in disqualification.
Your verification may not be valid if: a) HealthyWage does not receive the verified measurements within 72 hours after they are taken, b) if your verification does not take place within the specified verification period of your challenge, c) if HealthyWage is not able to locate your verifier or confirm your verification with your verifier, d) if your verifier indicates that he/she did not personally take your weight and height measurements, or e) if your verifier refuses, upon HealthyWage's request, to provide a sworn statement about the verifications, or other request made by HealthyWage.
