training for a half marathon in 40 days. hope to be at goal by then...keep slowing down and then try to pick up the pace again. I guess it is one step at a time.

this is so unfair. i wieghed in yesterday and today. the total from yesterday they erased. so you can only weigh in once huh? whether i weigh in once or twice the weight i lost in a seven day period is the weight i lost.

go to the Matchup screen and then go to visit dash board and then scroll down and you should see it and click on the verify me form.

i have to admit, after many attempts at working out, and getting burnt out shortly thereafter i though i was a lost cause. then some circumstances changed and i wound up moving into the city and getting a job a mile and a half away from my house. since i'm in the city it's way too expensive to have a car as parking alone costs about $300/month, so now i just walk everywhere, including work and school... as a result i have lost 29 lbs in the last 2 months... most of it in this last month. our bodies are designed to really only need a lot of walking, so put on your walking shoes and try and walk everywhere you go, or to as many places as possible, and you will lose those lbs in no time! i am so happy and content now, and i know that the remaining 21 lbs i want to lose by my birthday (in 3 months) will be no problem. it feels so good to have my life, health, and body back. i don't remember ever being this happy as an adult, it's amazing what self-confidence can do.

Lost my job last month and using the time to get going on my weight loss. Each day I go for a walk and this week I went for 4 miles in an hour & 15 minutes. My weight isnt going down by much but my pants are getting looser! Next week I'm going to bump it up to 4 1/2 miles and 5 miles the week after...

i just did my first backyard party of the year - i made sure there was something i could eat and talked and played games - i didn't eat the cake and was so proud of myself after everyone went home - just focus on how much you want to lose - i talked to myself at every food thing and remind myself that I AM GOING TO LOSE & GET INTO A SIZE 10!!! you can do it - keep telling yourself - YOU CAN DO IT - don't waste your hard work - keep it up at parties, barbecues friends weekends

hello help.. i need a motivator.. i am trying very hard but no luck.. parties, barbecues, friends and keep gaining on weekends . during weekdays try to get on the truck. but in reality have no lost in few months.. i so i am looking for help.. if i could get somone who is losing and keeping it off pls help.. desperate in nyc here.

do you have the opportunity to walk places, i.e. work, the store, friends' houses, etc? i was in the same boat you are in for the last few years, and i finally started walking everywhere instead of driving (which was helped by moving into the city) and i have managed to lose over half of my targeted weight loss of 50 lbs in the last month. i am able to still splurge from time to time, and not feel guilty about it anymore. it's been working really well for me, and it's been nice since i get burnt out easily when i make a point to work out, and i have back and hip issues so it's a nice low-impact workout, and now that summer is coming it's going to rather enjoyable to get out on those coolish (but still somewhat warm) nights and enjoy the city's hustle and bustle and lights.

Is anyone else having trouble getting their team joined in the matchup contest? When I try to add them it says they are already in it, but only my name is shown when I bring up that page. And when they try to add themselves, it shows different people.

get outside and go for a walk today. might make you feel better and burn some calories. Sometimes you just need to shake off the low feelings and know that you can do it and you have to just keep going. Also, I recommend the website and podcast 'Fat2FitRadio.com:". They have a good philosophy and a lot of good advice, plus a positive message. i find it motivating. good luck!

Jogged 3 days, no walk. One jogging day was a 5k though. Gained 3 pounds though. sigh. I'll try again this week. Too busy to work out this week though.

I wasn't as good last week about working out, only 2 times. But I worked out yesterday, so this week is starting off good at least! My goal is 3 days jogging and 1 day walking.

I had lost a few pounds, gained them again, and them maintained the same weight so far this year and now I've decided I'm tired of this! I did lose weight since last weigh-in and I plan to continue!!!

So... I allegedly won a gift card last week! I'm excited... but I've received no notification - nothing in my e-mail, nothing on this site in my comments... *sigh*. Well, I'm not losing weight for this site - I'm losing it for myself.

At this poiint, I'm not in it for the eanking, the giftcard, or whatever. It makes me feel good to see my weight loss go down. Just knowing I have to post it each week is enough for me!

Yes, I won the gift card 2 weeks ago. I was contacted by email and through this on "my profie" I think it was... where they leave blogs for you. I gave them my address and received it in the mail with a handwritten note saying "congratulations!" which I thought was pretty neat. Anyway, they do follow through! and congratulations to you too!

I don't know but I knwo taht you need to be honest with yourself if you really want to lose and be healthy. I could not lie because I would not win in the end. Plus I would think taht if they really wanted to check they could. Maybe plan a visit. Say you say that you lost 15 pounds a week. Well, they may want to interview you and post it here. Maybe the interview is in person. Also if you have before pics and you can take a pic now to show your loss. I lsot 11 and I know it will slow down. I am hoping to get at least 2-3 a week as this is healthy. I won a card this week. (first one!) but I don't think taht will happen all the time because my weight loss will start slowing down. I only have about 45 more to lose before I am at my goal and the closer I get the slower I will lose.

How do they know if you are the biggest loser for the week? I could say I lost 15 pounds and not have lost any!
